Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePatrol hotel premises to maintain security and detect safety hazards
- check_circleRespond to emergency situations including medical incidents and altercations
- check_circleChallenge suspicious persons and provide escorts for guests or staff
- check_circleCheck IDs and monitor employee entry and exit from the building
- check_circleAssist guests with room entry and provide security escorts
- check_circleMonitor TV cameras and secure areas for authorized personnel only
- check_circleConduct investigations regarding property losses, accidents, and crimes
- check_circleInventory and issue pagers, radio equipment, and keys daily
- check_circleMaintain daily activity logs and complete incident reports
- check_circleCoordinate with outside agencies and maintain liaison during incidents
- check_circleAdminister First Aid, CPR, and Heimlich Maneuver as necessary
- check_circleConduct briefings with Guest Services staff at shift start and end
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma or equivalent
- verifiedExperience in a hotel or related field preferred
- verifiedAbility to administer First Aid/CPR
- verifiedAbility to administer Heimlich Maneuver
- verifiedKnowledge of hotel and guestroom locking systems
