About the Role
The Security Monitor 2 serves as a critical frontline defender within a high-security environment. This role exists to ensure the integrity of the base's security infrastructure by maintaining vigilant surveillance and enforcing strict access protocols. You will be the eyes and ears of the facility, responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling the premises, and controlling access to restricted areas. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of security procedures, acute situational awareness, and the ability to assess and respond to potential threats with precision. Your day-to-day involves detecting unauthorized access, verifying credentials for military personnel and contractors, and responding quickly to alarms or disturbances to mitigate risks. You will also play a key role in emergency situations, such as evacuations or active threats, and ensure compliance with classified information protection guidelines.
