As part of our security team, you play a vital role in maintaining order and ensuring the well-being of everyone on our property.
As a Security Host/Hostess, you will be a first responder dedicated to protecting life and property while delivering the exceptional service Disney is known for. Your day will involve a mix of proactive patrols and responsive action. You will conduct interior and exterior foot patrols to identify potential hazards, monitor CCTV systems for unusual activity, and issue badges to contractors and visitors.
When emergencies arise, you will be trained to respond calmly and effectively to situations ranging from medical incidents to safety threats. This includes performing CPR, using AEDs, and managing fire extinguisher procedures. You will also handle investigations by evaluating scenes, interviewing witnesses, and documenting incidents. Beyond security enforcement, you will serve as a resource for guests, providing accurate information on directions and hours of operation, escorting guests to parking lots, and assisting with lost and found inquiries.
Candidates with a valid State of Hawaii Guard Card and relevant first responder experience are encouraged to apply. The hiring range for this position in Hawaii is $29.00 per hour, with the actual offer varying based on geographic region, knowledge, skills, and experience. Associates Degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Private Investigations, Homeland Security, Emergency Management and/or Emergency Medical Services. Strong understanding of Hawaii Revised Statutes, particularly those that apply to Hotel/Resort destinations. Knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language.
