About the Role
The Security Guard serves as a vital support pillar for Human Learning Systems, a contractor for the U.S. Department of Labor's Job Corps program. As a federally funded residential training initiative, Job Corps is dedicated to educating and training youth aged 16 to 24, preparing them for successful careers in the nation's fastest-growing industries.
In this capacity, the Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day safety compliance of the center. The role exists to create and preserve an environment where staff, students, and visitors feel safe and well-protected while adhering to Job Corps program requirements, corporate guidelines, and federal, state, and local regulations. The position requires a helpful, responsible, and caring attitude, ensuring that the rights of all individuals are protected while managing the unique dynamics of a residential youth training campus.
