About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to lead the physical upkeep and operational excellence of a vibrant multi-family apartment community in Wilmington, NC. This role is pivotal in ensuring residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment. As the face of maintenance for the property, you will bridge the gap between technical expertise and exceptional customer service, fostering trust and positive relationships with residents, co-workers, and company staff.
In this position, you will not only oversee daily maintenance objectives but also drive the preparation of market-ready apartments. Your day-to-day involves coordinating painting, carpet cleaning, and general repairs to ensure units are rental-ready in minimal time. You will manage a team of maintenance associates, handling everything from re-keying locks and repairing HVAC systems to managing complex pool maintenance and emergency response. The role requires a balance of independent decision-making and close collaboration with the Property Manager to align with community goals and safety standards.

Hiring Process & Application
Candidates must be EPA Certified with at least five years of maintenance experience; supervisory experience is preferred. While CPO certification is preferred, it is not required. The selection process includes physical, drug, and background tests to ensure the safety and reliability of our team. Successful candidates will be expected to possess a valid state driver's license and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely.
