At Hawthorne Residential Partners, we are looking for dependable, motivated, and hands-on maintenance professionals who take pride in creating clean, well-maintained, and welcoming communities. We offer more than just a job; we offer a path to grow your skills, learn new trades, and build a career. You will work alongside a team who will support you, challenge you, and cheer you on every step of the way.
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will handle work orders independently, assist with preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day upkeep across the community. This role is designed for those who want to see their work matter and their future full of opportunity. You will be the backbone of the community, ensuring that service requests are completed to Hawthorne standards and that vacant apartments are restored to make-ready status for the next move-in.
Your day will involve diagnosing and performing timely repairs, maintaining building and common areas, and assisting with pool maintenance. Beyond the technical tasks, you will be a representative of our "LIVE IT" culture, promoting good professional relations with residents, co-workers, and vendors through a friendly and courteous attitude. You will also participate in an on-call emergency service rotation to ensure the community is safe and secure around the clock.
We believe in seeing you succeed and grow with us. Our Career Path Program is offered to all employees, with a clear trajectory from Maintenance Technician II to Maintenance Technician III. Our Learning and Development team is committed to your career growth, and we offer an education reimbursement program to help you expand your technical knowledge and skillset. We look for individuals who are enthusiastic, driven, and willing to learn, embracing our culture of kindness, community, and connection.
Hawthorne is an equal opportunity employer.
