Your Role on the Team
As a Maintenance Technician at Invitation Homes, you will be performing high-quality maintenance work in our single-family rental homes while providing outstanding customer service to our residents. You will complete maintenance service requests across multiple trades and perform regular ProCare visits to conduct proactive maintenance and repairs. Your role involves educating residents on maintenance topics and conducting property condition assessments to alert the management team of items requiring immediate attention. You will also perform repairs in vacant properties during the turn process and utilize technician-specific reports to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma or equivalent
- verifiedOSHA 10 certification (required; 90 days to complete for new hires)
- verifiedProven experience in residential repairs and maintenance
- verifiedCurrent driver's license and automobile insurance
- verifiedAbility to perform work in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior structural, HVAC (minor), and appliances
- verifiedComfortability using mobile devices (iPad/iPhone) and mobile applications
Nice to Have
Multi-lingual skills. EPA Certification (Type I and II). HVAC Certification. CPO certification (pool). Ability to provide basic hand and power tools.
