About the Role
You will join the Public Safety Team at Frontier City, a seasonal opportunity designed to keep our park safe and welcoming for millions of visitors. As a Security Guard, you are the first line of defense, ensuring a secure environment while providing exceptional guest service. This role offers a unique chance to gain valuable law enforcement experience in a dynamic, high-energy amusement park setting.
Your day will involve patrolling the park grounds, conducting thorough security screenings for guests, employees, and vendors, and enforcing park policies to maintain order. You will be responsible for checking bags at metal detectors, verifying ID badges, and controlling access to restricted areas. Beyond security, you will act as a helpful resource, providing directions and assistance to visitors while rapidly responding to alarms, first aid situations, and other emergencies. Whether you are removing line jumpers to ensure efficient boarding or writing detailed incident reports, your presence ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleEscort guests and team members as needed for assistance and protection
- check_circleManage ride queue lines by removing line jumpers to ensure efficient boarding
- check_circleInspect areas for safety hazards such as fire, theft, and vandalism
- check_circleConduct security screenings of guests, employees, and vendors including bag checks and ID scans
- check_circleWrite detailed reports on damage, incidents, and security records
Requirements
- verifiedMust be 18 years or older
- verifiedAble to read and understand English
- verifiedPrevious Law Enforcement, Public Safety, or Security related experience is preferred
