The Security Architecture team is dedicated to ensuring Zoom releases and deploys secure products. We work with diverse engineering, compliance, and DevOps teams across the organization to meet security goals and maintain compliance with established SLAs. As a Security Engineer, you will serve as a trusted security advisor, collaborating with engineering teams to design, implement, and validate secure solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud and security technologies while making a direct impact on Zoom's platform.
You will guide engineering teams in end-to-end secure system design and implementation, acting as a subject-matter expert for security reviews across our products and services. Your day-to-day involves conducting threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security code assessments for web applications, native apps, and cloud infrastructure. You will focus heavily on AWS permissions and configuration issues, identifying gaps in authentication, authorization, and network segmentation. Additionally, you will provide hands-on security training and secure coding best practices to help engineering teams build resilient systems.
