About the Role
The Security Captain serves as the primary leader for physical security operations in the Las Vegas, NV area. This role is critical for developing, implementing, and continuously overseeing a comprehensive security program that aligns with the Company's values. You will direct security supervisors and personnel, manage resources and equipment, and establish operational procedures to ensure mission success.
In this position, you will act as Amentum's primary security representative, providing briefings to customers and clients while supporting business development opportunities. Your day-to-day involves conducting daily briefings on operational directives and threat assessments, managing surveillance reports, and ensuring the department meets and exceeds contractual performance requirements. You will be expected to hold accountability for any operational failures and provide timely solutions, while also fostering a proactive safety culture regarding weapons, vehicles, and ground safety standards.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a comprehensive evaluation process. This includes a detailed background investigation and a medical evaluation to ensure all physical requirements are met. Successful candidates must also demonstrate the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.

Requirements
