About the Role

We are on the lookout for passionate self-starters who thrive in fast-moving, collaborative, and innovative environments. The Junior E&I Technician serves as a vital support pillar for Plains assets, providing essential electrical and instrumentation services. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working in the field, performing installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of designated equipment and systems across tank farms, pump stations, facilities, and Control Centers.

As a team member, you will work with little supervision on routine maintenance and projects, executing tasks with a moderate level of guidance. You will collaborate with certified tradespeople such as Electricians, Heavy Duty Mechanics, and Instrumentation Specialists, often receiving direction from them while contributing to the integrity of our operations. This is a field-based position that offers the opportunity to engage in construction projects, turnaround planning, and special assignments within terminals and pipelines.

The environment is dynamic and physically demanding, often requiring work in open settings with extremes of heat and cold. You will frequently work in proximity to high voltage and chemicals, necessitating strict adherence to safety accommodations, including the use of protective clothing and equipment. The role is also subject to callouts for field operations and emergency response, ensuring that our critical infrastructure remains operational and safe.
