As a Teacher at Odyssey Academy, you will provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in your assigned academic subject area. You will serve as a positive role model, supporting the school's mission while creating a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
In this role, you will work cooperatively with special education teachers, staff, and parents to determine instructional goals and modify curricula as needed. You will be responsible for managing student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and taking necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, and facilities. Additionally, you may be asked to sponsor outside activities approved by the campus principal and participate in staff development to continuously improve your job-related skills.
