About the Role
As a Second Service Manager in our Grocery department, you will be the face of our commitment to customer care. This role exists to ensure that every shopper receives prompt, efficient, and friendly service while maintaining the highest standards of sales floor operations. You will serve as a bridge between our team and our customers, treating every interaction as an opportunity to enhance the shopping experience.
In this position, you will not only manage daily operations and technology but also cultivate a positive environment. You will train employees on store policies and procedures, ensuring they understand the importance of greeting customers by name and providing assistance ranging from locating products to handling heavy items. Your day will involve monitoring the sales floor, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, and coordinating backroom facilities to keep the store running smoothly.
You will also take on leadership responsibilities by recruiting and interviewing job applicants, managing employee schedules, and addressing personnel issues. By observing work methods and listening to both employees and customers, you will suggest improvements to work procedures and participate in creating engaging store displays. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong relationships with the community.
