As a vital part of the Visitor Services team, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is dedicated to curating a unique visitor experience. This role serves as the Museum's leading representative, ensuring every guest receives the highest level of customer service. The team works with united enthusiasm to exceed visitor expectations, acting as the first impression and the final interaction for all who visit.
About the Role
The Part Time/Seasonal Visitor Services Ambassador, Floor is the face of the Museum. You will be the primary point of contact for guests, attentively listening, expertly guiding, and accurately communicating information. Your day will involve engaging visitors through conversation, personalizing their experience, and sharing the rich history of the Museum's ships, equipment, and artifacts. You will ensure a smooth flow of traffic, maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas, and uphold the safety and well-being of our guests. By demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic, you will help tell the Museum's mission and message to the world.
