About the Role
As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you are the face of our store, dedicated to providing SMART customer service through the daily execution of our policies and programs. Your mission is to actively seek out customers, understand their unique needs, and guide them through every step of their shopping journey—from locating and selecting merchandise to demonstrating features and assisting with loading.
You will serve as a knowledgeable resource, promptly answering questions from both customers and associates. Whether walking a customer through a project area or explaining warranty information and special order details, your goal is to ensure a seamless and supportive experience. In the Tool Rental Department, you will also manage the administrative side of rentals and repairs by writing contracts and invoices.
Safety and security are paramount in your daily routine. You will maintain a secure work environment by detecting signs of theft, adhering to strict safety requirements (such as top stock safety and equipment tethering), and ensuring housekeeping standards are met through programs like Zone Recovery. You will also operate various store equipment, ranging from communication systems to specialized tools like panel saws and paint mixers, depending on your specific departmental role.
