About the Role
We are looking for hardworking individuals who enjoy physical and outdoor work and are comfortable navigating various types of terrain. This seasonal position runs from April/May through mid-August 2026 and is ideal for those with farming, ranching, construction, or other outdoor labor experience.
You will walk through large properties to apply herbicides using a backpack spray system, working in rocky, steep, and uneven landscapes. The role requires you to mix and load herbicides accurately, follow work orders to ensure proper vegetation management, and keep simple but accurate records of applications. You will work independently and in small crews to meet daily production goals, occasionally traveling to job sites outside the immediate area as needed.
Hiring Process
PMG Vegetation is a drug- and alcohol-free workplace. As a condition of employment, you will be required to successfully complete and pass both a background check and a drug screening before beginning work. This includes verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and driving records where applicable. Pre-employment drug testing is mandatory and must be passed before employment begins. Failure to pass these requirements will result in disqualification from employment.
