The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks a Seasonal Laborer I to join our team at Douglas State Forest. This role is vital to the daily operations of our parks, forests, and recreational facilities. You will perform and assist with a variety of duties in connection with conservation and maintenance work, helping to keep our natural spaces beautiful and accessible for the public.
In this position, you will be part of a team that values diversity, innovation, and collaboration. You will play a direct role in advancing sustainability and environmental justice, ensuring a positive and lasting impact on Massachusetts and its residents. The work involves hands-on maintenance, including grounds care, facility upkeep, and visitor engagement, contributing to the well-being of the Commonwealth's natural and cultural resources.

Please note that salary range compensation is determined by several factors, including experience, seniority, the agency's budget, and the nature of the role. If selected for this position and the duration of work is less than 90 days, the position will automatically revert to a short-term status, and the salary rate will be discussed during the interview phase.
