About the Role
As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you are the face of our store, dedicated to providing SMART customer service through the daily execution of our policies and programs. Your mission is to actively seek out customers, understand their unique needs, and guide them through every step of their shopping journey—from locating and selecting merchandise to demonstrating features and assisting with loading.
You will serve as a knowledgeable resource, promptly answering questions from both customers and associates. Whether walking a customer through a project area or explaining warranty information and feature benefits, your goal is to ensure a seamless and supportive experience. In the Tool Rental Department, you will also handle the administrative side of service by writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rentals and tool repairs.
Safety and security are paramount in your daily operations. You will maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, identifying hazards, keeping aisles clear, and adhering to specific safety requirements such as top stock safety and the proper use of safety devices. Additionally, you will remain vigilant in detecting signs of theft and other security risks, communicating them promptly to management and Asset Protection.
To deliver the best service, you will cross-functionally train in various areas of the store and operate essential equipment ranging from Zebra phones and computers to specialized tools like panel saws and paint mixers, depending on your specific departmental role.
