This position serves as a Chief Systems Engineer, leading a dynamic team to synthesize, define, analyze, and integrate high-performance electro-optic systems. You will be the architect of the system's lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional partners in engineering, manufacturing, and program management to design and build solutions that meet rigorous mission requirements.
Your day-to-day involves defining total system designs and operational concepts while developing models and architectural guidelines for future technologies. You will lead technical risk assessments, verification, and validation efforts, ensuring that every subsystem integrates seamlessly. Beyond technical execution, you will foster collaboration to resolve interface problems and provide timely production support, acting as a bridge between technical teams and program leadership.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a comprehensive evaluation process designed to assess both technical expertise and cultural fit. This typically includes an initial screening to verify qualifications and security clearance status, followed by technical interviews focusing on systems engineering methodologies and EO/IR domain knowledge.
