About the Role
The Laboratory Technician serves as a vital support pillar for our food safety, quality, and operational teams. In this entry-level position, you will perform routine analytical and laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process items, and final products. Your work ensures that our products meet strict customer specifications and regulatory standards.
You will be responsible for checking and monitoring instrumentation performance, running calibration checks, and performing preventive maintenance tasks. While you will conduct tests independently, you will also support more complex trials and experiments under intermediate supervision. A key part of your day involves documenting results into active databases and communicating findings to internal customers.
Beyond technical testing, you will play an active role in developing a culture of food, feed, and regulatory safety by collaborating cross-functionally. You will handle clerical, administrative, and technical support issues, escalating complex matters as needed, and will be expected to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals to write routine reports and correspondence.
