About the School
Christ the King Catholic School, located on the northside of Indianapolis, is dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and functional learning environment for its students, staff, and visitors. We are seeking a dedicated daytime maintenance employee to join our team starting in July 2026.
About the Role
This position is essential to the daily operations of our campus. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the physical upkeep of our school buildings, grounds, and equipment. Your work ensures that classrooms, restrooms, and common areas remain safe and ready for learning.
In this role, you will perform routine maintenance and minor repairs across various systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. You will conduct regular inspections of the facility and respond promptly to both scheduled maintenance requests and emergency repair situations. Additionally, you will support the school community by setting up and breaking down rooms for events, meetings, and activities, while coordinating with administrators, teachers, and outside vendors as needed.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Prior maintenance, custodial, or facilities experience. Experience in a school or institutional setting. HVAC, electrical, or plumbing knowledge. Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA guidelines. Good communication and time-management skills.
