We are seeking Licensed Counselors and Social Workers to join our team in support of the DoD Military and Family Life - Child and Youth Counseling Program (MFLC CYB) near the Naval Submarine Base in New London, Connecticut. The primary objective of this role is to provide ongoing non-medical counseling services to school-aged children of local Military Members and their families. These services include non-medical counseling, training, health and wellness presentations, and consultation with military families and installation command staff regarding behavioral issues affecting children and youth.
CYB Counselors are typically assigned to local schools, requiring experience working in a school setting. Additionally, counselors may be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and other specialty assignments. This is a salaried position offering competitive pay and benefits, with the salary range based on an annual full-time work schedule that is prorated for counselors working on school schedules with summers off.
