About the Role
The Functional Family Therapist serves as a vital link in supporting families within their own communities. This position is dedicated to delivering home-based functional family therapy, ensuring that clinical interventions are accessible and effective where families live. The role exists to strengthen family dynamics by actively engaging with clients in their natural environments, adapting interventions to leverage family strengths, and connecting them with essential community resources.
As a member of the therapy team, you will manage a caseload of families, providing weekly one-hour sessions that may extend beyond standard business hours to accommodate client availability. Your day involves a blend of clinical practice and community navigation, requiring you to assist families with both therapeutic goals and concrete service needs. Success in this role demands high adaptability, as you will frequently shift between home visits, community settings, and remote administrative duties while maintaining strict confidentiality in a home-office environment.

Requirements
- verifiedMaster's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related human service profession
- verified2 years' experience in children and family services
- verifiedLicensed or license eligible in respective field (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- verifiedValid Driver's License with current insurance, registration, and clear driving record
- verifiedClear criminal background check by Florida Department of Juvenile Justice
