About the Role
This entry-level sales position supports the DIY business by achieving sales and service objectives. The role serves as a vital link for customers, providing an excellent selling experience through both in-store visits and phone interactions. You will be responsible for delivering DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installs, while maintaining high standards for store product and operational excellence.
The position requires a blend of retail sales acumen and technical aptitude. You will utilize store systems to source parts from stores, hubs, PDQs, and external suppliers, leveraging in-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. Whether working part-time or full-time, you will play a key role in keeping the store stocked and operational, handling tasks from truck put-aways to cycle counts.
Work Environment
While predominantly working inside, this role occasionally requires working outside to perform tasks like installing batteries and wiper blades, exposing you to various weather conditions. The environment may also involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role involves frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds (occasionally up to 100 pounds).

Requirements
