About the Role
Guidehouse is seeking a Salesforce Developer to support break/fix operations and incremental enhancements for an existing Salesforce org. This role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, root-cause remediation, and delivery of targeted enhancements that maintain platform stability while improving user experience.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a production support environment, balancing urgent issue resolution with a steady flow of enhancement work. You will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Administrators, and Architects to deliver reliable, well-governed solutions. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance and is based in the San Antonio office.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleServe as a hands-on technical resource for Salesforce production issues including defects and integration errors
- check_circleImplement fixes using configuration or code changes following established development standards
- check_circleValidate fixes in lower environments and support controlled deployment to production
- check_circleCollaborate with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to refine technical approaches
- check_circleSupport unit testing, system testing, and UAT by resolving defects and refining solutions
- check_circleEnsure all development work adheres to established SDLC, release management, and security standards
- check_circleIdentify recurring issues and contribute to long-term fixes that reduce technical debt
- check_circleSupport evaluation of Salesforce seasonal releases by identifying potential technical impacts
- check_circleProvide clear technical documentation of issues, root causes, and implemented resolutions
- check_circlePerform root-cause analysis by reviewing logs, debug output, data models, and automation logic
- check_circleAnalyze and troubleshoot issues across Salesforce configuration, Apex, Flows, and Lightning components
- check_circleDevelop incremental enhancements based on well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 4+ years of experience in Salesforce
- verifiedBachelor's degree (or relevant experience)

- verifiedAbility to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance
Nice to Have
Experience with real-time and batch integration using REST/SOAP/Bulk APIs or tools like Informatica, MuleSoft, or Cast-Iron. Expert-level knowledge in Apex, Webservices, Flows, VF Pages, LWCs, JavaScript, CSS, and Aura framework. Hands-on experience designing complex integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications. Experience at a 'Big 4' or equivalent consulting firm and/or Salesforce Platinum partner. Salesforce Platform Developer II certification. Experience with public sector clients. Experience with Agile or Hybrid-Agile methodology. Omnistudio experience. Experience with Public Sector Solutions, Agentforce, Box, or Mulesoft.
