The Sales and Catering Coordinator serves as a vital support pillar for the Sales and Catering Team, ensuring the department achieves its revenue goals and service metrics through efficient administrative management. In this position, you will act as the operational hub for the department, managing the flow of sales contracts, BEOs, and correspondence. You will collaborate closely with Sales leadership to handle small groups (under 10 rooms) and meetings, ensuring inquiries are qualified and addressed with professionalism and timeliness. The role requires a high degree of organization to maintain accurate sales files, lead logs, and system documentation within tools like Delphi SalesPro.
Your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of clerical duties and client interaction. You will interface daily with kitchen and banquet departments to address specific client needs, conduct site inspections, and organize in-house deliveries and amenities. Additionally, you will support solicitation efforts and sales blitzes, ensuring the team is properly stocked with collateral and supplies.
