As a Banquet Captain, you will be the driving force behind ensuring excellent guest service throughout all banquet functions. Your role is vital in coordinating daily activities to ensure meeting spaces are immaculate and set precisely according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), while guaranteeing that food and beverages are served promptly and accurately.
In this position, you will supervise and train new employees in service, banquet, and guest service skills. You will lead pre-function meetings to align the team on service requirements, inspect uniform standards, and foster an environment of open communication across all departments. Beyond operations, you will play a key role in supporting our environmental commitments, helping to lead the global goal of "greening" the hospitality industry.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess US work authorization. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience in a captain or supervisor role within the banquet industry, with previous hotel or resort experience preferred. Applicants should demonstrate a complete knowledge of banquet preparations, service standards, and etiquette, along with the ability to read and execute BEOs.
