Year Up United is seeking a Sales Specialist to join our Training Program Internship within the Education & Training industry. This role is designed to support partnership development, lead generation, and outreach to employers who can host and hire Year Up talent. Working closely with senior staff, you will research prospects, prepare presentations, and track engagement in CRM tools.
In this position, you will gain hands-on experience in consultative sales, social-impact partnership building, and data-informed decision-making. You will be instrumental in designing and delivering a structured sales training curriculum aligned with Year Up's mission and employer needs. Your day-to-day will involve facilitating interactive workshops, role-plays, and virtual sessions focused on core sales competencies such as prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing.
Beyond instruction, you will coach and mentor program participants, providing individualized feedback on communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. You will collaborate with program managers and instructional staff to integrate sales training into Year Up's broader academic and professional skills model, ensuring training content reflects real-world entry-level sales role requirements. The role also includes developing digital learning materials, tracking participant performance metrics, and supporting employer engagement activities to align expectations.
