About the Role

We have an opening within our Physician Office Sales Team in West Virginia. This role is designed to drive growth by developing a territory of residual-based medical supplies. You will serve as a key liaison between Medline and the physician community, selling a diverse portfolio that includes disposables, exam gloves, point-of-care tests, capital equipment, and diagnostics.

In this position, you will build relationships and develop a customer base across alternate site physician offices and hospital-based practices. Your day-to-day involves making new calls to acquire customers, collaborating with manufacturers to present products, and preparing quotations. Success in this role requires creating and maintaining a territory plan to grow a residual base of customers in the alternate site marketplace. You will also be responsible for training yourself and others on new items, explaining their medical and fiscal benefits to healthcare personnel ranging from physicians and nursing staff to office managers and purchasing teams.

Due to the nature of this outside sales representative position, the ability to drive a car and travel 90% of each day to interact with healthcare providers on-site is a core requirement.

Hiring Process

Candidates with a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of quota-based sales experience (demonstrating cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales) or 5 years of similar experience are encouraged to apply. We look for a track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
