About the Role

The Sales Manager serves as the operational and strategic leader of our Sales Department. This role is vital to ensuring the dealership achieves its monthly sales and CSI objectives while upholding the high standards of the Hendrick Pre-owned Performance Plan. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing department operations, and fostering a culture of customer satisfaction.

In this position, you will work closely with upper management and Human Resources to shape the team through hiring and discipline decisions. Your day will involve training and supervising the sales team, developing promotions to motivate performance, and overseeing department inventory. You will also interact directly with customers to ensure their needs are met and make critical decisions regarding sale prices and trade-in vehicle appraisals. Success in this role requires a deep working knowledge of factory incentive programs and the ability to maintain effective employee relations while adhering to all manufacturer and company guidelines.
