The Commercial Manager serves as the leader of our Commercial Sales Department, driving business development, operational excellence, and sales performance. This role exists to elevate the customer experience and optimize department efficiency while fostering a high-performing team environment. You will partner with upper management and Human Resources to shape the department's direction, making key hiring and discipline decisions while directly supervising the sales team.
In this position, you will be the face of our commercial operations, interacting directly with customers to ensure their satisfaction and overseeing critical decisions regarding sale prices and trade-in appraisals. Your day will involve developing promotions to motivate the team, setting schedules, and managing department inventory. You will also ensure accurate reporting to manufacturers and maintain compliance with all incentive programs. Success in this role requires balancing operational oversight with a passion for winning, ensuring that CSI scores meet or exceed company standards while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
