About the Role

We currently have an opening for a Family Service Advisor at Valley Memorial Park in Hillsboro, OR. This position serves as a vital link between our families and the services they need, selling cemetery services, property, merchandise, and pre-need funeral services in accordance with established sales goals. The role encompasses both at-need and pre-need sales, requiring a compassionate approach to guiding families through difficult times while building lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleSet appointments and make presentations in prospective client homes to sell prearrangements
  • check_circleAttend visitations, funerals, and interment services to support client families
  • check_circleMaintain accurate records of personal sales activity and performance results
  • check_circleSell pre-arranged funeral contracts, cemetery property, and merchandise to meet sales objectives
  • check_circleDevelop personal sales leads through contacts, telephone solicitation, and group marketing activities
  • check_circleConduct advance sales for prearrangements including cash and installment funding mechanisms
  • check_circleRefer sales management on any deviations from prescribed policies regarding prices or contract terms
  • check_circleComplete sales contracts and documentation in compliance with company policies

Requirements
