We're building more than infrastructure; we are building your future. Granite Construction Incorporated is a member of the S&P 400 Index and is the parent company of Granite Construction Company, one of the nation's largest heavy civil contractors and construction materials producers.
This position serves as a vital collaborator in the administration of the Company's Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) and the corresponding regulations that relate to the safety of our work. You will be the bridge between company team members, owner representatives, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to ensure effective working relationships. Your day-to-day involves promoting engagement with the company safety program to reduce at-risk behaviors, performing inspections and audits to protect employee well-being, and assisting in the development of job hazard analyses. You will also play a key role in investigating incidents and ensuring that corrective actions are documented and implemented in a timely fashion within a high-production construction environment.

This commitment extends to our benefits, which include paid holidays, sick leave, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and special programs for musculoskeletal health and mental wellness. Salaried employees enjoy a 100% match on the first 6% of eligible compensation deferred into their 401(k) plans, which vests immediately.
