About the Role
This position serves as the vital voice of the customer and the Route Sales Driver. You will create loyal customers by utilizing all available resources and ensuring strict compliance with DOT and safety requirements. Your day will involve consistent face-to-face interactions with Route Sales Drivers, conducting regular "Deep Dive" analyses to capture revenue and EBITDA opportunities, and acting as a liaison between drivers, the General Manager, Plant Manager, Office Manager, and Service Leaders.
You will be responsible for overseeing fleet safety and maintenance, managing billing issues, and ensuring high-quality delivery through collaboration with Service and Production Leadership. Beyond operational oversight, you will drive customer loyalty by resolving concerns, managing new account setups, and developing relationships through phone and travel. This role requires initiating new ideas to exceed normal performance expectations and participating in the onboarding and initial six-week training of Route Sales Drivers.
