Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDiagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, servo, safety, and control system failures
- check_circleModify and troubleshoot robot programs using teach pendant and laptop interfaces
- check_circleAdjust weld parameters including voltage, wire feed speed, sequencing, and torch orientation
- check_circleProvide operator and maintenance training to customer personnel
- check_circleDocument service activity including labor hours, travel, parts usage, and technical findings
- check_circleCoordinate with parts, engineering, and technical support to resolve service issues
- check_circleIdentify repeat failures and recommend preventive solutions to improve system reliability
- check_circleInstall, commission, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair robotic welding cells and automation equipment
- check_circlePerform robot start-ups and production validation to restore customer operations
Requirements
- verifiedAssociate degree in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Welding Technology, or equivalent experience
- verified3–5 years experience in field service, industrial maintenance, robotics, or automation
- verifiedAbility to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedClean driving record
- verifiedAbility to lift up to 50 lbs
- verifiedSuccessful completion of background check and drug screening
- verifiedE-Verify participation
Nice to Have
Robotic welding experience. Experience with Cloos systems or similar robotic welding platforms. PLC familiarity (Allen-Bradley preferred). GMAW/MIG welding process knowledge.
