About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Welding Engineer Specialist to support high-volume automotive production. In this role, you will drive welding automation, optimize equipment performance, and lead cost reduction initiatives. You will be responsible for the installation and optimization of welding equipment, including robotics, welders, jigs, and vision systems. Your day-to-day work involves programming and troubleshooting robots (Fanuc or Yaskawa/Motoman preferred) and PLC-controlled systems while supporting resistance, arc, and/or MIG welding processes.
As a self-managed problem solver, you will identify and resolve weld quality issues, improve workflow and manufacturing methods for maximum efficiency, and support welding maintenance and training programs.
