About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Stepdown unit, you will utilize the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care. You will maintain professional accountability for the patients assigned to you, evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Your role involves coordinating patient care in conjunction with other departments while strictly maintaining patient rights and the confidentiality of patient information. All duties are performed in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards.
Location and Schedule
This full-time position is based at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri. The role offers a Weekend Option schedule, covering Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for 36 hours per week. Team members working this schedule earn an additional $20/hour differential for all hours worked between Friday 7:00 AM and Monday 7:00 AM.

Mercy is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN); Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact licensure; and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association.
