Our 30-bed Neuroscience Unit specializes in caring for adults with neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, and seizures. Nurses here gain hands-on experience with complex brain and nervous system disorders, learning how neurological health impacts memory, mobility, and daily living.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct inpatient nursing care to adults with neurological conditions
- check_circlePerform wound care and manage complex neurological health needs
- check_circleConduct comprehensive patient assessments for stroke, epilepsy, and seizure disorders
- check_circleAdminister medications and perform IV therapy as required
- check_circleUtilize Epic EHR system for documentation and patient tracking
- check_circleCollaborate with the medical team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- check_circleDevelop and implement individualized care plans for patients
Requirements
- verifiedNursing Degree from accredited school (BSN preferred)
- verifiedCurrent RN Temporary Permit or RN license in Missouri
- verifiedBasic Life Support (CPR) certification through American Heart Association
- verifiedHigh school diploma or GED equivalent
- verifiedGraduate of accredited practical nursing program
- verifiedCurrent LPN license in hiring state
- verifiedLPN-IV Certification (completed or within 3 months of hire)
- verified1 year LPN experience (preferred)
Nice to Have
BSN degree for RNs. 1 year of LPN experience.
