As a Registered Nurse on Neurology 8E at Mercy Hospital South, you will care for patients experiencing acute and chronic neurological conditions, including strokes, seizures, brain tumors, and brain bleeds. This role utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients while evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by the broader team.
You will gain valuable experience supporting complex neuro assessments, ensuring safety-focused care, and engaging in close interdisciplinary collaboration with therapy and neurology teams. Your duties include coordinating patient care across departments, maintaining patient rights, and upholding the confidentiality of patient information in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission and service standards.
