As an RN OR Scheduler at Medical City Dallas, you will join a culture of mutual respect and collaboration among all surgical staff. This role is designed to ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency in the Operating Room while providing you with self-preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance for predictability. You will be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team, working alongside providers, surgeons, and surgical technologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Your day will involve evaluating patients prior to surgery, assuming responsibility for patient preparation (including IV therapy and preoperative medications), and participating in critical safety protocols such as surgical site verification and time-outs.
