Good Samaritan – Bethany is a 79-bed long-term skilled care and transitional care facility located in Brainerd, Minnesota, in an area known as "The Heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area".
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at our Brainerd facility, you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. Your role involves collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. You will practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, caring for residents through all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
In this position, you may serve as the charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe and reliable administration of care. Your work is grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association.
This is a part-time position on the night shift, working 8-hour shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The schedule includes rotating weekends and holidays. Hours total 48 per bi-weekly pay period. Incentives are available for weekend work and hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
