This position is based onsite at UCHealth CeDAR in Aurora, CO, within the CeDAR Residential Care department. The role involves providing direct patient care in a behavioral health setting at a proficient level, adhering to the organization's policies, values, and mission. The successful candidate will monitor patients to maintain a safe environment, optimize outcomes, and maximize available resources.
The day-to-day responsibilities include initiating corrective action when patients show adverse symptomology and responding to care situations using established nursing standards and protocols. This role requires providing psychiatric nursing to a complex behavioral health patient population within a fast-paced, complex environment. The position demands critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while handling critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
