About the Role
We are seeking a PRN Nurse to join our collaborative environment dedicated to clinical excellence. In this role, you will interact directly with residents during the night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM), assisting staff in meeting their functional needs while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment at all times. You will be a vital part of the treatment team, taking physician orders, administering medications, assessing resident conditions, and facilitating outside diagnostic or medical services as needed.
What We Offer

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleMaintain security of controlled medications and monitor accurate recording of use
- check_circlePrepare residents for discharge through individualized counseling and written instructions
- check_circleCoordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure efficient communication flow
- check_circleFacilitate a safe and therapeutic environment for residents during assigned shifts
- check_circleCoordinate pharmacy and laboratory orders, deliveries, and refills with vendors
- check_circleProvide education to residents and families regarding medications and side effects
- check_circleConduct comprehensive nursing assessments to identify resident needs and limitations
- check_circleRecord and execute physician orders including STAT interventions and medication administration
- check_circleIdentify abnormal diagnostic data and promptly report findings to attending physicians
- check_circleCoordinate facility infection control programs to ensure policy compliance
- check_circleAdminister various injections including IM, Long Acting Antipsychotics, and Tubersol PPD readings
- check_circleDocument resident conditions, behaviors, and treatment progress in electronic systems
Requirements
- verifiedGraduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- verifiedState license as a Registered Nurse
- verifiedValid CPR/BLS
- verifiedState Driver's License
Nice to Have
One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse. At least one (1) year in psychiatric nursing.
