The Dr. John C. Corrigan Mental Health Center (Fall River Site) provides comprehensive services to adults and children, including a 16-bed acute in-patient unit, Case Management, Day Treatment Program, and Adult Community Clinical Services. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team on a 16-bed secured inpatient unit serving individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. This role is designed for professionals who desire a rewarding career making a tangible difference in the lives of patients. You will work alongside other professional staff to provide day-to-day direct care, monitoring patient behaviors, administering treatments, and offering patient teaching regarding health, wellness, and medication management.
Success in this position requires strong therapeutic interpersonal skills to encourage and motivate individuals in their recovery journey toward treatment goals. You will function as a vital member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, collaborating to establish comprehensive, person-centered care plans. The environment is dynamic and can be stressful; you may encounter verbal or physical confrontations and must be prepared to work under time pressure, including nights, weekends, holidays, and potential mandatory overtime.

Bilingual (Portuguese, Spanish, Khmer). Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, behavioral or mood disturbances in an inpatient setting. Trained in de-escalation and nonviolent crisis intervention procedures. Experience working in facilities that are accredited and inspected by The Joint Commission, Department of Public Health, Board of Health, Department of Mental Health, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
