About the Role

This position is based onsite at the UCHealth CeDAR facility in Aurora, Colorado, within the CeDAR Residential Care department. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in a behavioral health setting at a proficient level, adhering to the organization's policies, values, and mission.

You will monitor patients to maintain a safe environment, optimize outcomes, and maximize available resources. The role involves initiating corrective action when patients present adverse symptomology and responding to care situations using established nursing standards and protocols. You will deliver psychiatric nursing to a complex behavioral health patient population in a dynamic environment, handling critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. Success in this role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
