Recognized as the #1 Children's Hospital in Florida and nationally ranked in specialties including Cardiology and Endocrinology, our compassionate team brings years of experience to meet the unique medical needs of children of all ages.
We are proud to be a Magnet® designated hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the largest and most prominent nursing credentialing organization in the world. This designation reflects our commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and nursing practice. Our Nurse Managers play a significant role in ensuring these standards are met, while our collaborative interprofessional teams utilize advanced evidence-based practices through continuous research and development.
The Critical Care Float Pool is designed to provide flexible, high-quality nursing support across our most critical pediatric units. As a member of this team, you will float to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Congenital Heart Disease (CDH) units. These units range from 15 to 97 beds, offering a dynamic environment where you can apply your expertise to diverse patient populations.
In this role, you will benefit from nurse-to-patient ratios designed for the highest quality of care and a collaborative working environment where nurses have a seat at the table through shared governance. We offer a flexible self-scheduling option to help you balance your work, family, and personal life, ensuring you can focus on what matters most: your well-being and that of your loved ones.
