The Critical Care Float Pool is designed to provide flexible, high-quality nursing support across our most critical pediatric units. In this role, you will float to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Congenital Heart Disease (CDH) units. These units range from 15 to 97 beds, offering a dynamic environment where you can utilize your skills in diverse critical care settings.
You will join a collaborative working environment that values shared governance, ensuring nurses have a seat at the table. Our approach emphasizes first-class patient care through an interprofessional team utilizing advanced evidence-based practices driven by continuous research and development. With flexible self-scheduling options, you can balance your work, family, and personal life while maintaining nurse-to-patient ratios that ensure the highest quality of care.
Interested candidates should apply with a BSN from an accredited School of Nursing (or an Associate Degree with a commitment to obtain a BSN within 36 months of hire). Applicants must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (State or Compact) and possess a minimum of one year of experience as a licensed RN. BLS certification provided by the AHA is required.
