Piedmont Eastside is a 310-bed, multi-campus system of care offering comprehensive medical and surgical programs. Our services span cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, robotic surgery, rehabilitation, maternity with neonatal intensive care, behavioral health, bariatric, urgent care, and 24-hour emergency care across two locations.
The Progressive Care Unit bridges the gap between the Intensive Care unit and the medical-surgical units, providing high-intensity nursing care. We are committed to delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care within an environment that supports autonomy, mutual respect, teamwork, collaboration, and accountability. Our team is highly motivated and dedicated to ensuring Piedmont Eastside remains the provider and employer of choice.
Using the principles of the Synergy model developed by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, our nursing staff delivers individualized care to meet the needs of a challenging and complex patient population. Our high-volume unit rapidly and safely transitions patients across the continuum of care.
As a Staff Nurse on the Progressive Care Unit, you will provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, functioning within the framework of organizational policies and procedures. This role requires demonstrating professional growth and accountability while maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities for all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
New graduates of a nursing program are eligible to apply, and we welcome candidates with hospital setting experience.
Piedmont Eastside is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
