About the Role

This position serves as a Registered Nurse within the Perioperative department, offering top-of-scope practice in direct patient care. The role is designed for a dynamic team environment where you will utilize the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes through a multidisciplinary approach. You will prioritize wellness, maintain a patient perspective, and apply evidence-based practice in a fast-paced, innovative clinical setting.

As a member of the Float Pool, you will provide direct care in Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), or Operating Room levels of care. The role involves modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth and contributing to safety and quality at the point of care. Clinical Educators are available to support and guide individualized specialty education and training, ensuring competency validation throughout your clinical orientation. This is an onsite role with no hybrid or remote options available.
