This position is based at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, Colorado, within the Operating Room department. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. The role operates on a part-time basis (24 hours per pay period) during the night shift and requires an onsite presence.
You will work within a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care. The role involves direct care in Perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room levels, adhering to AORN and ABPANC core curriculum standards. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation. You will also have the opportunity to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and UCHealth.
